NEUTRAL ‘N’ GEAR WHEN AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS

When at traffic lights, there are usually some traffic lights that take a long time to turn green. If you like to use gear D when at traffic lights, please stop from now on.

It is best when at a traffic light for all drivers to use the N gear which is Neutral to reduce the pressure on the car engine. When the light is green, you can drive and use ‘D’ gear as usual.

PUT YOUR HAND ON THE GEAR

While your car is not moving and is in a static state, avoid placing your hands on the car’s gear knob.

This is to prevent your car’s fork selector from becoming worn and to avoid rotating collars and gears coming into contact with each other.

DO NOT PRESS THE CLUTCH WHILE CHANGING GEAR

The function of the clutch is to disconnect the engine from the gearbox each time you press the pedal.

So, if you do not press the clutch while wanting to change gears it will actually damage the transmission system as well as the car engine.

USE THE CORRECT GEAR ACCORDING TO THE SITUATION

In every situation on the road, you have to use the gears wisely, for example, never lower the gears if you are driving so fast that your engine speed reaches the red line.

PRESS OIL STRONGLY WHEN RPM IS STILL LOW

Usually we will press the oil when we want to speed up, but you actually do not notice that at that time the car’s engine RPM is still low.

So if you press the oil while the RPM is still low, it will damage your car engine. It’s best to increase the RPM and press the oil the right way.
